چکیده: مطالعه جامعی از OsCl3 جامد حجیم و یون مولکولی [Os(bpy)2(CO) Cl]+ ارائه شده است که کاربرد طیف‌سنجی‌های RIXS و HERFD XANES را برای بررسی مواد حجیم و کمپلکس‌های مولکولی نشان می‌دهد. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل نتایج تجربی، شبیه‌سازی‌های DFT با در نظر گرفتن تعامل اسپین-مدار انجام شد. محاسبات برای هر دو ترکیب منجر به توافق خوبی با داده‌های تجربی RIXS و HERFD XANES شد و جزئیات ساختار اتمی و الکترونیکی محلی آنها را روشن کرد. به طور خاص، توزیع فضایی اوربیتال های مولکولی به دست آمد که امکان تعیین منشا قله های جذب را فراهم کرد. نشان داده شد که برای مواد حاوی اتم‌های سنگین، تنها استفاده از طیف‌سنجی پیشرفته RIXS و HERFD XANES امکان استخراج اطلاعات مربوط به جزئیات ساختار اتمی و الکترونیکی محلی را از داده‌های XANES فراهم می‌کند.

It was shown that for materials containing heavy atoms, only the application of advanced RIXS and HERFD XANES spectroscopies makes it possible to extract the information on local atomic and electronic structure details from XANES data.
