مواد در هر سازمانی برای فعالیت های تولیدی و خدماتی مورد نیاز است. هزینه تهیه یا خرید این مواد به دست می آید. مدیریت مواد و مالی فعالیت هر سازمان برای مدیریت این منابع است که مربوط به برنامه ریزی، تهیه یا خرید، ذخیره سازی و تهیه مواد مناسب با کمیت مناسب، کیفیت مناسب در مکان مناسب در زمان مناسب به منظور هماهنگی و زمان بندی عملیات و فرآیند تولید به روشی یکپارچه برای یک صنعت یا هر شرکتی. مدیریت مالی مقدار و هزینه این مواد را بر اساس الزامات کنترل می کند تا هزینه کل تولید و ذخیره سازی مواد برای مدیریت تجارت سازمان ها صرفه جویی شود. این کتاب دارای فصل‌هایی است که تکنیک برنامه‌ریزی نیازمندی‌های مواد (MRP)، خرید، برنامه‌ریزی موجودی و کنترل هزینه آن، تجزیه و تحلیل شکست، تجزیه و تحلیل ارزش، مدیریت مواد و به موقع را توضیح می‌دهد. مدیریت خرید و زنجیره تامین، تدارکات مدیریت مواد و مدیریت و کنترل فروشگاه ها از آن پشتیبانی می کند. استانداردسازی، ساده سازی، طبقه بندی و کدگذاری مواد نیز در این کتاب گنجانده شده است. موضوعات پیش بینی و برنامه ریزی موجودی در این کتاب برای برنامه ریزی تولید و نیازهای مواد در یک شرکت ضروری است. این موضوع از مدیریت مواد و مالی بخشی از برنامه درسی مطالعات مهندسی و مدیریت در هر مؤسسه فنی و دانشگاه های هند و سراسر جهان است. به ویژه دارای فصل هایی مطابق برنامه درسی RGPV، بوپال (MP) است. این کتاب برای موسسات فنی در M.P بسیار مفید است. این یک کتاب درسی برای این موضوع در دانشکده های مهندسی، مدیریت و فنی برای دانشجویان، معلمان و متخصصان خواهد بود زیرا مدیریت مواد و مالی یک درس اجباری برای همه شاخه های مهندسی است. این کتاب همچنین دوره آزمون AMIE و موسسه مهندسی صنایع برای مدیریت مواد و مالی را پوشش می دهد. دکتر سی.ام. استاد صدیوالا در رشته مهندسی مکانیک که فارغ التحصیل M.A.C.T. بوپال در نقش بی.ای. (Mech. Eng.) در سال 1967. او به عنوان استاد در Mech خدمت کرد. انگ. برای 30 سال گذشته در M.A.N.I.T. (M.A.C.T.) بوپال (مجلس پارلمان) و در ماه مه 2006 بازنشسته شد. اکنون او به عنوان مدیر راجیو گاندی پرودیوگیکی ماهاویدیالایا، بوپال پیوسته است. دکترای خود را انجام داد. در برنامه ریزی و مدیریت نیازمندی های مواد از IIT Roorkee (UP) در سال 1990. او برنامه درسی مدیریت مواد را برای دانشکده های مختلف مهندسی در M.P. مانند M.A.N.I.T.، دانشگاه برکات الله و RGPV Bhopal و 20 سال گذشته این موضوع را تدریس کرده است. وی حدود 80 مقاله پژوهشی در مجلات و کنفرانس ها ارائه کرده است. وی در کنفرانس بین المللی تحقیقات تولید که در اوزاکای ژاپن برگزار شد، شرکت کرده و مقاله خود را در این زمینه ارائه کرده است. او دارای راهنمایی شماره دکتری. دانش آموزان. وی 38 سال سابقه تدریس دارد.

Materials are needed in every organization for their production and service activities. Cost is acquired to procure or purchase these materials. Materials and Financial Management is the activity of every organisation for managing these resources which are related to planning, procuring or purchasing, storing and providing appropriate materials of right quantity, right quality at right place in right time so as to co-ordinate and schedule the operation and production process in an integrative way for an industry or any enterprise. Financial management controls the quantity and cost of these materials as per requirements so as to economise total cost of production and material storage to manage business of organisations. This book has chapters, which explains the technique of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), purchasing, inventory planning and its cost control, break even analysis, value analysis, materials handling and just in time. Purchasing and supply chain management, the logistics of materials management and stores management and control supports it. Standardisation, simplification, classification and coding of materials are also included in this book. Forecasting and inventory planning topics in this book are essential to production planning and materials requirements in an enterprise. This subject of Materials and Financial Management is part of syllabus of Engineering and Management Studies in every technical institute, and universities in India and all over the world. Particularly it has the chapters as per the syllabus of RGPV, Bhopal (MP). This book is very useful for the technical institutions in M.P. Sadiwala professor in mechanical engineering who graduated from M.A.C.T. Bhopal as B.E. (Mech. Engg.) in 1967. He served as professor in Mech. Engg. for last 30 years at M.A.N.I.T. (M.A.C.T.) Bhopal (MP) and retired in May 2006. Now he has joined as a Director of Rajeev Gandhi Prodhyogiki Mahavidyalaya, Bhopal. He did his Ph.D. in Materials Requirements Planning and Management from IIT Roorkee (UP) in 1990. He has prepared the curriculum in Materials Management for various engineering colleges in M.P. like M.A.N.I.T., Barakatullah University and RGPV Bhopal and has been teaching this subject for last 20 years. He has presented about 80 research papers in journals and conferences. He has attended the International conference in Production Research held at Osaka, Japan and presented his paper in this subject. He has guided number of Ph.D. students. He has 38 years of teaching experience.
