دکتر ویکتور فتاستاد زیست شناسی در دانشگاه مارشال، ویرجینیای غربی، ایالات متحده آمریکا است. او یکی از ویراستاران جغرافیای زیستی و بوم شناسی ترکمنستان (ناشران آکادمیک Kluwer، 1994) بود و ده ها مقاله تحقیقاتی در زمینه جغرافیای زیستی حیوانات، سیستماتیک و تکامل تألیف کرد. او همچنین یکی از کارشناسان برجسته جهان در مورد عقرب ها و یکی از نویسندگان کاتالوگ عقرب های جهان (نیویورک، 2000) است.

دکتر. الکسی پوپوفمدیر موزه ملی تاریخ طبیعی، صوفیه، بلغارستان است. او 94 نشریه تحقیقاتی در مورد فون شناسی حشرات، طبقه بندی، بوم شناسی و حفاظت از حشرات را تالیف و به نگارش درآورد. او به عنوان منشی و/یا عضو هیئت تحریریه Historia naturalis bulgarica، Acta entomologica bulgarica، و مجله نوروپترولوژی بود. در پروژه "Fauna Europaea"، دکتر پوپوف تیمی متشکل از 30 حشره شناس که بر روی حشرات بلغارستان کار می کنند، رهبری می کند.

Dr. Victor Fet is a Professor of Biology at Marshall University, West Virginia, USA. He was a co-editor of Biogeography and Ecology of Turkmenistan (Kluwer Academic Publishers, 1994) and authored dozens of research publications on animal biogeography, systematics and evolution. He is also one of the world’s leading experts on scorpions and one of the authors of the Catalog of Scorpions of the World (New York, 2000).

Dr. Alexi Popov is the Director of the National Museum of Natural History, Sofia, Bulgaria. He authored and co-authored 94 research publications on insect faunistics, taxonomy, ecology, and conservation. He served as a Secretary and/or the Member of the Editorial Board of Historia naturalis bulgarica, Acta entomologica bulgarica, and Journal of Neuropterology. In the project "Fauna Europaea", Dr. Popov leads the team of 30 entomologists working on the insects of Bulgaria.
