اصطلاح قربانی به شخصی اطلاق میشود که در نتیجه جنایت،
تصادف یا رویداد یا اقدام دیگری آسیب دیده، مجروح یا کشته شده
است. بزه دیده شناسی بر بزه دیدگی از نظر تأثیرات روانی، تأثیر
بر نظام عدالت کیفری و سیاست های جدید تمرکز دارد و یکی از جنبه
های اصلی در حوزه پزشکی قانونی است. قربانی شدن می تواند به
دلیل سوء استفاده، تجاوز، بدرفتاری، جنگ، تروریسم، جنایات و در
محیط های مختلف مانند خانه، مدرسه و عمومی اتفاق بیفتد. در
گذشته تاکید بیشتری بر مجرمان میشد و نظریههای مختلفی سعی
میکردند رفتار مرتکب و تخلفات آنها را توضیح دهند. اخیراً،
محققان شروع به تمرکز بر جنبههای مختلف قربانیشناسی کرده و
عوامل خطر قربانی شدن، دلایل قربانیشدن مکرر، و ابعاد پزشکی
قانونی، روانشناختی و اجتماعی قربانیان و پیامدهای قربانیشدن
را بررسی کردند. اما نیاز به تئوری ها و تحقیقات جدید برای درک
کامل تر از بزه دیدگی وجود دارد.
رشته جرم شناسی به جرایم می پردازد و نظریه های مختلفی برای توضیح علت توسعه یافته است. جرم رخ می دهد و بیشتر بر روی مجرمان متمرکز است. جرم شامل مرتکب و قربانی می شود و تا این اواخر توجه زیادی به قربانی نشده است. اینکه چه اتفاقی برای یک قربانی میافتد، عواقب روانی و اجتماعی یک عمل مضر برای قربانی چیست، آسیبپذیری برای قربانی شدن این روزها مورد توجه جدی قرار گرفته است و شروع به تأثیرگذاری بر سیستم عدالت کیفری کرده است. تأثیرات روانی و اجتماعی قربانی شدن ممکن است کوتاه یا طولانی باشد، اما تأثیرات آن را نمی توان نادیده گرفت. راهحلهای حقوقی و درمانهای روانی جنبههای مهم قربانی شدن هستند. ضمن در نظر گرفتن این عوامل، کتاب بر منشأ و دامنه بزه دیدگی، انواع مختلف قربانی شدن مانند سوء استفاده جنسی، خشونت خانگی، بدرفتاری، جرایم سایبری، جنگ و تروریسم، بلایای طبیعی، قربانی شدن در مدرسه و محل کار، قاچاق انسان تمرکز خواهد کرد. جنایت علیه اشخاص، جنایت علیه اموال، جنایت یقه سفید، سالمند آزاری، قربانی معلول، قربانی ثانویه و بزه دیدگی مجدد و تأثیرات روانی آن و مسائل مربوط به آن. این کتاب همچنین بر بزه دیدگی و عوامل پزشکی قانونی و تأثیر آن بر سیستم عدالت کیفری علاوه بر مدیریت روانشناختی بزه دیدگی تمرکز دارد.
The term victim refers to a person harmed, injured, or
killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or
action. Victimology focuses on the victimization in terms of
psychological effects, impact on criminal justice system and
new policies and it is a major aspect in the area of forensic
field. Victimization can occur due to abuse, assault,
maltreatment, war, terrorism, crimes and it can happen in
different settings like home, school, and public. In the
past, more emphasis was given to perpetrators and various
theories tried explain the behavior of perpetrator and their
offences. Recently, researchers started focusing different
aspects of victimology and explored risk factors for becoming
victim, reasons for repeated victimization, and forensic,
psychological and social dimensions of victims and
consequences of victimization. But there is a need for new
theories and researches to have more thorough understanding
of victimization.
The field of criminology dealt with crimes and various theories has developed to explain why crime occurs and more focused on perpetrators. A crime involves perpetrator and victim and not much attention has been given to the victim until recently. What happens to a victim, what are the psychological and social consequences of a harmful act to a victim, vulnerabilities to become a victim are getting serious attention now a days and started influencing the criminal justice system. The psychological and social impacts of victimization may be a short or long duration but the impacts cannot be ignored. The legal remedies and psychological healings are important aspects of victimization. While considering these factors, the book would be focusing on origin and scope of victimology, different types of victimization such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, maltreatment, cyber crimes, war and terrorism, natural calamities, victimization at school and work place, human trafficking, crime against persons, crime against property, white collar crime, elder abuse, victim with disabilities, secondary victim and re-victimization and its psychological impacts and related issues. The book would also focus on victimology and forensic factors and its influence on criminal justice system in addition to the psychological management of victimization.
