کارگاه بین‌المللی IEEE در سال 2007 درباره تجزیه و تحلیل و مدل‌سازی چهره‌ها و ژست‌ها (AMFG) سومین Workshopofittype در پیوند با ICCV، این بار در ریودوژانیرو، برزیل است. هدف اصلی ما گرد هم آوردن محققان و گروه‌های تحقیقاتی برای بررسی وضعیت تشخیص، تحلیل و مدل‌سازی چهره، ژست، فعالیت و رفتار است. برای بحث در مورد چالش هایی که با آن روبرو هستیم؛ و برای کشف مسیرهای آینده. امسال 55 مورد ارسالی دریافت کردیم. هر مقاله توسط سه عضو کمیته برنامه بررسی شد. کل فرآیند بررسی دو سو کور بود. اما به دلیل محدودیت سایز، ما تنها توانستیم 22 مقاله را در خود جای دهیم که از این میان 8 مقاله شفاهی و 14 مقاله پوستر است. موضوعات تحت پوشش این مقالات پذیرفته شده عبارتند از نمایش ویژگی، چهره سه بعدی، تشخیص قوی در زیر ژست و تغییرات نور، تشخیص چهره مبتنی بر ویدئو، یادگیری، تجزیه و تحلیل حرکت صورت، تخمین حالت بدن و تشخیص علامت. یک کلمه تشکر ویژه از دکتر فنگ ژائو، رئیس سازماندهی ما، به خاطر فداکاری و تلاش عالی او در حفظ سیستم ارسال آنلاین و وب سایت کارگاه و مدیریت بیشتر مخاطبین نویسنده است. ما از اعضای کمیته مشورتی برای پیشنهادات ارزشمندشان و از اعضای کمیته برنامه بخاطر تلاش و بررسی به موقعشان مدیون هستیم. در نهایت، ما از Cognitec System GmbH و زیمنس شرکت تحقیقاتی برای حمایت خود تشکر می کنیم. اکتبر 2007 S. The 2007 IEEE International Workshop on Analysis and Modeling of Faces and Gestures(AMFG)isthethirdworkshopofitstypeorganizedinconjunctionwith ICCV, this time in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Our primary goal is to bring together researchersand research groupsto review the status of recognition, analysis and modeling of face, gesture, activity, and behavior; to discuss the challenges that we are facing; and to explore future directions. This year we received 55 submissions. Each paper was reviewed by three program committee members. The whole reviewing process was double blind. However,due to size limit, we were only able to accommodate 22 papers, among which 8 are orals and 14 are posters. The topics covered by these accepted papers include feature representation, 3D face, robust recognition under pose and illumination variations,video-basedface recognition,learning,facial motion analysis, body pose estimation, and sign recognition. A special word of thanks goes to Dr. Feng Zhao, our organizing chair, for his dedication and great e?orts in maintaining both the online submission system and workshop website and in handling most of the author contacts.
